2025 Work Details
Saturday, May 3rd - Black Bear Trailhead- 9am
Meet at Black Bear Trailhead at 8:30am. We will clean legalized township roads and western end of the trail. Everything will be loaded onto a Rush Township truck and taken to their building.
Friday, May 9th - Meyers Run Road- 9am
Meet at Gillentown Trailhead at 8:30am. We will clean Meyer's Run road from Gorton Crossing to Casanova Road.
May 12th, 13th and 14th - Bloody Skillet Work Details- 9am
Meet at Gillentown Trailhead at 8:30am the first two days and we will trailer to the Bloody Skillet northern most trailhead to clean up. On Wednesday, May 14th, please meet at Gillentown Trailhead at 8:30am to leave on atv/utv's from trailhead to clean connector on South side.
Saturday, May 17th - Morris Township Clean Up- 9am
Meet in Morris Twp. up Troy Hill on Jim Verost's property at 8:30am to park. We will clean township roads. Trash will be unloaded at their township building.
Garbage bags, gloves, some pickers, vests and lunch will be provided. Please bring tools such as chainsaws, pruners, hammers, etc.
If you plan to attend any of the work details, please email Gary Halsnik at sharpie151@yahoo.com to provide him a head count of those attending because SSRTA will be providing lunch to all volunteers. Thank you!
