Spaghetti Dinner April 18, 2009


Another terriffic showing of support for the SSRTA by it's membership. Snow Shoe Township Supervisors John Yecina and Rodney Preslovich attended and made mention of the great economic impact the trail is having on the community. Jon Eich, Centre County Commissioner, also a great supporter of the trail attended and was very happy to see the large turn out. Ruth Luse made the event and provided a cake too.

We also want to thank the Centre County Probation Office for their help to provide community service workers to assist with the dinner, fold newsletters, and to sand and paint bollards at the Gillentown Trailhead.

The SSRTA Executive Officers & Board of Directors want to thank our supporting politicians for their continued support. We also want to thank our membership for attending the event and helping to support trail.

We also want to thank Mary Jane Peters for the hand sewn camo blanket she has donated for a raffle to be chanced off August 1, 2009 at the Chicken BBQ. Anyone wanting a dollar chance, please see one of the executive officers.
